(3) people will be forced to liquidate their greatly devalued assets to pay for disaster
(4) rich people will buy up those cheap assets, creating greater concentration of wealth
(5) they will rent some back to you and hold things like healthcare over you, so you can't unionize/strike.
The purpose is wealth transfer to the rich and creating laborers who are so dis-empowered they can't say no.
